Herbal Teas & Their Health Benefits

Herbal teas are widely recognised for their benefits. Green tea in
particular, is rich in antioxidants and has been used as a medicine in China for several
thousand years and is believed to stop certain neurodegenerative illnesses, including
Alzheimers.
Green tea is also believed to aid in the prevention and/or treatment of
cancer, to help in the treatment of arthritis and assists with protection against tooth decay and gum
disease.
A recent study with four cancer patients who all had CLL (chronic
lymphocytic leukaemia) gave significant results. After they started drinking
green tea or taking green tea extracts, three of the patients showed clear
improvements in their condition over a period of several months.
